The most resistant are among those under 19 years of age, according to the results of the second National Study of Seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2.

According to the study, accessed by Novosti, one in three, or 31.8 percent, in this age group has an IgG antibody, or naturally acquired immunity after infection.

Of the total population of Serbia, the most protected are the inhabitants of Kragujevac, Uica, alias, Valjevo and Apca.

The results of the study show that in these areas, almost a fifth, that is, 23.1 percent of the population has antibodies.

The study was conducted on a representative sample of 1,200 households, or a total of 2,500 respondents.

The results of the study carried out by the Institute of Epidemiology of the Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in cooperation with the Institute for the Application of Nuclear Energy have not yet been published, and the director of the Institute, Prof. Tatjana Pekmezovi only confirmed for Novosti that has been completed and will be published very soon.
