Let us remind you that public media services are financed partly from the Serbian budget and partly from the tariff, which is charged through the bill for the electricity consumed.

Last year, the tax was 220 dinars, whereas previously it was 150 dinars.

The Government of Serbia suspended the subscription to public services from 2014 to 2016, and then the new Public Services Law reintroduced the subscription, but under the name “tariff”.

However, in 2015, it was decided that, again temporarily, RTS and RTV will be financed mainly by the state treasury, and the fee will be only 150 dinars.
