Members of the City Election Commission appointed by the Serbian Progressive Party are ending the hunger strike, announced SNS candidate for mayor of Sabac, Aleksandar Pajić.

Pajic recalled that the hunger strike began last night, when the chairman of the City Election Commission, Budimir Pavlovic, along with other members appointed by Dusan Petrovic and Nebojsa Zelenovic, as he says, began to hinder the electoral process.

“Taking into account that the members of the electoral commission they appointed resigned, we demand that the secretary of the commission, Zlatko Ranković, return the stamp he stole from the president of the assembly.” If that does not happen, we will file a criminal complaint for the misuse of the stamp and ask the president of the assembly to issue an order for the production of another stamp, “Pajić said.

The decision to supplement the objections after repeated voting in five polling stations and the new session that was supposed to be held for progressives is unacceptable, because it prolongs the electoral process.

For the president of the city’s electoral commission, this is in accordance with the regulations and the law.

Budimir Pavlovi? a session in which all six complaints are scheduled. decide in a single debate.

Aleksandar Pajić, the mayoral candidate from the SNS list, said that citizens came to defend the electoral will, which they brought three times in repeated elections, and that is that the Serbian Progressive Party has a two-thirds majority.

The protest of the SNS sympathizers in front of the building ended before midnight, and after that, the GIK president left the hall where the commission members from the ranks of the progressives, who were on hunger strike, remained.

Today all the flaws in the objections have been eliminated, and the president of the commission does not know when the new session will take place, job security is the basic condition.

For the still current mayor, Nebojsa Zelenovic, all that happened were criminal acts, and the entire electoral process was a violation of the constitutional order of Serbia.

There will be no new sessions of the previous convocation of the City Commission, because, as confirmed by President Budimir Pavlović, he and nine members who did not support the views of the progressives resigned in the afternoon.

The SNS also reacted with a statement, accusing Zelenović of the new political situation.
