Despite the new convocation, the new president and the 150 new deputies, the atmosphere of lynching of dissidents moved from the old to the new parliament. The only difference between the old and the new call is that there is not the slightest opposition in the new one and that there is no possibility of hearing at least one word in defense of the calls.

According to Danas interlocutors, the change is that new forces and new stars have reached the parliamentary seats, so “old aggressors” such as Marko Atlagić, Aleksandar Martinović and Marijan Risticević are losing their breath in the race with them and must return. to “prove his worth to the leader, inventing new invisible juries”.

These days, Marko Atlagić has been actively, especially in the afternoon hours of the session, trying to “count” the patriotic beans.

He first accused actress Seka Sablić of not being a patriot for the interview with NIN, where, among other things, he stated that “the homeland is where you feel good and not where the sarma is.”

Later, the retired professor accused his colleague Srbijanka Turajlić of being a “moral and patriotic maniac”, because he believes that the monument to Stefan Nemanja should be removed from Sava Square. No one in parliament defended the people who were not present, nor did the president, as required by regulation, take Atlagić’s word for the insult.

On the contrary, he was rewarded with loud applause.

“Mr. Atlagić is a man who certainly cannot touch me with any of his statements, even claiming that I am a moral and patriotic fanatic. All those MPs there talk about what comes to mind, because they have nothing to do. The Assembly has no function in a country headed by a single person. He is everything from the president of the state, to the president of the house council, and the deputies that he put on the list have to sit there and talk about what Anyone to think of it. “This parliamentary call continued with all the bad things and trends from the previous call, with some qualitative and quantitative additions. This practice of not dealing with the issues on the agenda, but with the absent opposition, has continued and been raised to a higher level. What is a step forward is that new forces and new stars have arrived, so Martinović, Atlagić, Risticević … must make a great effort so that the lions do not run over them in a show of fidelity to Vučić. This only confirms that this assembly, as well as the elections that led to it, represent a kind of farce and political anomaly. It seems to me that Vučić himself knows this and that is why he announces these new elections, but at the same time with the maximum media and political exploitation. That situation, that anomaly and political realities in which the parliamentary majority takes care of the absent and, as they say, the marginal opposition, cannot last forever. Political scientist Boban Stojanović believes that the National Assembly has lost all its functions and roles, and has now completely lost what little dignity that existed. He believes that parliament has become the propaganda center for the SNS.
