President Aleksandar Vučić was at the Military Medical Center tonight around 10 pm to see the condition of Patriarch Irinej.
This news was confirmed to Tanjug in the office of President Vučić.
Doctors informed the president that His Holiness was still in very serious condition, on a respirator.
Serbian patriarch Irinej’s condition worsened last night. Bishop Stefan Saric, vicar bishop of the patriarch and elder of the Temple of Saint Sava, told “Blic” today that doctors from Serbia and the Russian Federation take care of the patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
– We are worried, we expected things to develop in a different direction – Bishop Šarić said.
Vučić also told the press today that Patriarch Irinej was intubated during the afternoon and that he was in serious condition.
It should be remembered that the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) was hospitalized on November 5 at the Karaburma Military Medical Center, after a regular test, the day before, confirmed that he was positive for the corona virus.
