They are Nebojsa Strugar (47) and Nebojsa Bojovic (52) – “Novosti” has learned. Almost the entire Serbian scene, athletes, stars and even some politicians, were his regulars.
Bojović, who is the brother of Luka Bojović’s uncle, owns a jewelry store in Belgrade and is known for “rare pieces of jewelry” that can be purchased from him. Police are now investigating whether the two ended up with “loot,” which thieves known as “Pink Panthers” stole around the world.
According to the statement from the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office (TOK), by order of the arrest of the four, it is an organized criminal group whose leader, as is suspected, is Strugar. Under the previous agreement with Bojović, he organized the “panthers” of Valjevac S. Š. and AJ from Belgrade, who traveled to Germany.
– As we have determined, on December 14 the Breguet jewelery shop in Düsseldorf was robbed with another man, for now unidentified, also a “panther” – says our interlocutor in the investigation. – On that occasion, they stole expensive watches worth three million euros.
According to TOK, the suspect Strugar smuggled seven stolen precious watches from Germany. These are Breguet watches, whose exact value is 352,440 euros. He gave these watches to the suspect Bojović, so that he could “drown” them, that is, resell them. The police found the watches near Bojović and confiscated them.
H.H. (51) and AJ (51) were arrested the same night near Strugar’s apartment. Interestingly, Strugar’s hand was also adorned with a watch of the same brand, and during the search of the apartment he uses, in the center of Belgrade, another 33 Breguet watches and a gold bracelet from the same company were found, worth of more than 2.7 million euros.
TOK carried out this action with the Service for Combating Organized Crime (SBPOK) of the UCP of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior, which continued with the investigation into this group. An intensive exchange of information is taking place through Interpol.
Strugar, Bojovic and the other two were detained by the police for up to 48 hours, and tonight they were taken to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office and it was further announced if they were ordered to be detained.
THE CAR ENTER THE SAMPLE
Through the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German police presented a confirmation that in the robbery, ten days ago in Dusseldorf, a total of 41 watches were stolen, as well as a bracelet of the same brand: Breguet. As “pink panthers” usually do, they went into the jewelry window and collected the loot.
