The epidemiologist and member of the Crisis Staff for the fight against the coronavirus, Predrag Kon, sent an invitation to all state officials to wear masks at all times.
“I ask all state officials to wear masks on all occasions when it is mandatory, both for themselves and as an example for everyone,” Kon wrote on his Facebook account.
Some of Kon’s followers on social media welcomed this appeal, while one of them told Kon that he was late with this appeal.
There were also those who suggested that anyone who does not wear masks be penalized.
One social media user posted an image of a recent forum in Bled, Slovenia, where Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was the only one without a mask, while another added the news that in Kragujevac the majority of councilors in the session of the City Assembly did not wear a mask.
On his Facebook profile four days ago, Kon warned of mass celebrations across Serbia in which people do not adhere to prevention measures, do not wear protective masks and do not take into account the prescribed distance, writes Nova.rs.
