Posters with messages against the vice president of the People’s Party (NS) and former mayor of the capital of Vojvodina Borislav Novakovic appeared today in the broader center of Novi Sad, after NS activists previously posted posters against the mayor of Novi Sad and the senior official of the Serbian Progressive Party Milos Vucevic.
NS activists put up posters against Vučević last Thursday. They accused the current mayor of being corrupt and colluding with the Galens company, which is the largest investor in construction in Novi Sad in recent years.
“Milos Galens Vucevic – while the floors are going up, the money has just arrived!”, It was written on the posters of the Popular Party, so they were legitimized and registered by the police intervention unit reinforced by the gendarmerie.
“I am robbing Bora of the Novaković city budget” and “While he was lining up the meters, the money was coming to him,” is written on the posters that were posted today.
The posters show a photo of Novakovic from about ten years ago, when, as an official of the Democratic Party, he was director of the Institute for City Building. The photo shows dollars.
On Facebook, Novakovic accused the Serbian Progressive Party of being behind today’s action and thanked them for “free publicity.”
And on the social network Twitter, Novaković wrote that “the drawing of white continues”, showing what the pillars of the building in which he lives are like, and on which posters with his face can be seen.
Continue drawing targets!

On Friday, the Belgrade High Court’s special department for the fight against corruption rejected the accusation against Novakovic for applying the principle of Ne bis in idem (not twice for the same), which accused him of abusing his official position during the construction of the Boulevard Europa in Novi Sad. while he was director of the Institute for the Construction of the City.
The proceedings against Novaković were previously suspended due to the same matter in the Misdemeanor Court, which is the reason for the decision of the Special Court, because it is not possible to initiate two proceedings for the same fact.
