In the last 24 hours, 5,679 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Serbia, and 48 patients died, both less than yesterday, when there were 6,534 new cases and 55 deaths.
In the last 24 hours, 16,886 people were tested and a total of more than two million citizens of Serbia: 2,016,984, announced the Ministry of Health.
Since the start of the pandemic in Serbia, 261,437 people have tested positive for the coronavirus and a total of 2,275 patients have died.
Right now, 8,744 patients are hospitalized, of whom 318 are on a ventilator, Tanjug reported.
The highest number of new patients is still 1,420 in Belgrade, but that number is lower compared to yesterday, when more than 1,500 were registered.
It is followed by Novi Sad with 346 new cases of kovida-19, then Kragujevac with 253, then Nis with 211. Kraljevo is fifth in terms of the number of infected in Serbia with 170, followed by Pancevo with 155, Subotica 117, Valjevo 110 .
Fewer than 100 new cases are registered in Cacak 91, Uzice 84, Zrenjanin 81, Sabac, Smederevo and Leskovac 79 each, Krusevac 76 and Vranje 71.
In other cities, fewer than 50 people were reported to be infected.
