Politika Online: PCR test performed in Serbia is no longer valid to enter Slovenia

By government decision, Slovenia can no longer enter that country with a negative test carried out in institutions of Serbia or another country outside the EU, that is, the Schengen area, it was published on the website of the embassy of that country in Belgrade.

As stated, as of December 25, it is possible to enter Slovenia without going into quarantine only with a negative EU PCR test, that is, the Schengen area, which is not more than 24 hours old.

The decision stipulates that entry into Slovenia of the countries on the red list, including Serbia, is allowed only for seven exceptions, without sending home quarantine or without delivering a negative corona virus test result, reports Tanjug.

The exceptions are people who are employed in one of the EU member states or another Schengen country, of which they have proof, that is, a signed statement proving the reason for crossing the border as daily migrant workers and returning within 14 hours after crossing the border those who carry out international transport activities, as well as people who transport goods to Slovenia or from Slovenia in commercial traffic, or in traffic of goods in transit and leave Slovenia within eight hours after cross the border.

Also exempt are persons traveling in transit through Slovenia and leaving it no later than six hours after entry, representatives of a foreign security body performing an official task and leaving Slovenia as soon as possible after the task , the people brought to Slovenia by rescue or ambulance, as well as the accompanying medical escort in that vehicle, as well as people with diplomatic passports.
