The Basic Public Ministry of Kragujevac ordered the arrest of Slavoljub M. (68), for the crime of assault on an official in the performance of official duties and also domestic violence.
The suspect fled after his wife Ljiljana M. and daughter Bojana J., with whom he had an argument in front of a store in Kragujevac, about domestic violence, fled to his apartment in Kragujevac, where the police soon found him.
When the police came to arrest Slavoljub, he took a bottle of gasoline and spilled it in the direction of officers Vojko K. and Strahinja M., threatening to kill them, as well as to kill his wife and daughter, and then himself. Then he tried to light it with a flame from a lighter which he flung into the spilled gasoline. Fortunately, the lighter went out and the police soon overpowered it and took him to the police station.
This incident occurred on Spasenije Cane Babović Street in the Central Workshop settlement in Kragujevac.
