A movie chase took place in Novo Selo, near Vrnjačka Banja, as police chased an “Audi” car with two people in it, Belgrade media reported.

From the “Audi”, for a reason still unknown and in circumstances not yet explained, members of the police were shot with firearms.
No one was injured on that occasion, and as we found out unofficially, the police responded to the fire. A real movie chase followed, but soon the police managed to intercept, presumably, a stolen “Audi” and arrest the two men who were in the car. The weapon with which the shooting took place, unofficially, has not yet been found.
The police eventually “intercepted” the car, the attackers were arrested and a weapon was found near them.
The detainees of the “Audi” were transferred to the Vrnjačka Banja police station, the competent prosecutor’s office was informed of everything and intensive operational work is being carried out to clarify all the circumstances in which the shooting occurred and then the police pursuit.
