Severely injured Aleksandar Šarac (35), who was shot twice in the head on Saturday, in a waiting room in the parking lot of the “Ušće” shopping center in Belgrade, was allegedly close to the missing Lazar Vukićević (31). Vukicevic lost all trace three days before the Usce shooting, and the police are checking if the two events are related!

Sharza, related to the “Pink Panther” gang, was shot twice in the head by an unknown assailant and is still in mortal danger. At the time of Šarc’s assassination attempt, the police were already searching extensively with Vukićević, who was last located on Wednesday night.

– Šarac was allegedly with Vukićević. After Vukićević lost track, Šarac asked their mutual friends about her disappearance. It is being investigated whether Šarc’s assassination attempt and Vukićević’s disappearance are related. It’s more than indicative that Vukićević lost track on Wednesday night and, after less than three days, his, let’s say a good acquaintance, was shot, reports Blic from a source familiar with the investigation.

It is also interesting that Vukićević was last located in Banovo brdo, Šarčevo kraj. It is being investigated whether Vukićević may have gone to Šarc that night or if they saw each other, after which his trail is lost. Investigators believe that Vukićević did not voluntarily disappear, and that it is a consequence of dating Šarc, has yet to be determined.

An unidentified assailant fired at Šarc with a “beret” pistol, caliber 7.65 mm, with a silencer. Sharac, for a reason he knew, feared for his life: he was driving an armored “Mercedes” and wearing a bulletproof vest, but that didn’t help either, because the attacker approached him from behind and fired two shots in the head. He threw his gun into the bushes in front of the mall as he fled. During the investigation, the inspectors found him and the expertise showed that all the prints were erased, as well as that the serial number was scratched.

Although security cameras filmed the attacker wearing a red jacket, with a black cap on his head and a mask on his face, he has not yet been identified. Meanwhile, with the help of security cameras in the city, the inspectors are trying to reconstruct the movement of Šarče and, according to him, on the fateful Saturday, which streets were moving from the house to the shopping center. Investigators are trying to establish if the same vehicle was moving all the time, right behind it, if someone was following it. Sharac is believed to have been under surveillance and it was his “escort” who told the attacker where the target was going. Furthermore, the shooter is presumed to have well-organized associates who assisted him even after he moved away, as recorded by security cameras, from the garage where he shot Šarc.

Saturday’s shooting is not the first time Šarac has been attacked, but the previous two times he saved his head thanks to a combination of happy circumstances. It was first written in detail about him in August 2018, when a bomb was dropped at the home of former basketball player Vukašin Vule Avdalović. Sharac and Avdalovic were the first neighbors, so investigators did not rule out the possibility that the attacker hit the house. Five months later, when Chaba Der killed Nebojsa Markovic in Banovo brdo, the first target was believed to have been repeated by Sharac, who lives nearby. Although Chaba Der was arrested, it has not yet been clarified if Sharac was the real target.

Sharac was arrested in Italy in 2017, due to the theft of the “Eleutheri” jewelry store in Milan on September 21, 2016, from which he took a loot worth more than one million euros. He was arrested in Serbia in 2011 as a member of a gang whose loot was 250,000 euros.

The missing Lazar Vukićević was last seen in Banovo brdo?

Vukicevic was last located in Banovo brdo, before midnight, and for now it is not known who he was with at the time. Last year, Lazar Vukićević, a Red Star fan, escaped death in Vračar, near the family home on Riječka Street, when about a kilogram of plastic explosives were placed under his “Porsche” car. The explosive was placed under the driver’s seat and the detonation was caused by the remote control. The “Porsche” was registered to Miodrag, but was driven by his son Lazar.

Three months before that, Vukićević was released from the prison where he was incarcerated because he shot Nikola Vavić, the brother of Aleksandar Vavić, the leader of the “Alcatraz” fan group, in January 2017 in front of a club in Terazije. Until then, Vukićević had no file and Nemanja Arsović Arsa was detained with him. In August 2018, he concluded an agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office, and was sentenced to a single prison term of one year and eight months, as well as the mandatory security measure of confiscating the case.
