She was placed on a mound with her five-month-old son Kristijan, who died in April 2019, for whose death the Šabac Superior Prosecutor’s Office filed an accusation against her for aggravated murder.
According to the indictment, the crime against the baby occurred on April 20, 2019, around 10:30 pm, at the family home in the village of Petlovača, Radmila told residents that she fed the child and put him to sleep, and then noticed that he was not breathing. An autopsy on the body determined that the baby was asphyxiated in her sleep, but Radmila, who told police in one of her statements what she had done, later denied the confession.
We learned that Radmila was pregnant at the time of her arrest for the murder of her son Kristijan. About three months ago, she gave birth at the Central Hospital, where she gave birth to a son, and the Bogatić Center for Social Work reacted by handing over the newborn to a foster family.
Radmila Milosavljevic’s family say they were not informed about the circumstances in which he died in the prison hospital. They only know that an autopsy on the body was ordered and they expect an official report in a month.
