LI, suspected of shooting Aleksandar Šarc (35) in the head with a pistol, disappeared into TC Ušće’s underground garage in New Belgrade, and it is speculated that he may have been with prostitutes the night before the crime.
However, former intelligence officer Božidar Spasić tells TV Pink that he does not believe those assumptions, emphasizing that something like this would only hinder the commission of the crime.
– I don’t think a murderer brings prostitutes the night before a murder. It’s incredible that they rent an apartment and bring strangers to that barn, someone who would leave a trail – says Spasić.
Police suspect that LI also had an assistant who assisted him in the crime.
He shot Sharc in the back of the head in the garage at the mall, and then passed by without a care in the cameras. It was identified based on a specific way of walking.
Journalist Mladen Mijatović says the investigation showed that the suspect’s plan was to escape across the border.
After the crime, the suspect dropped his silencer pistol or intentionally dropped it so he didn’t have it with him, and has since lost track.
Some experts believe that it may have been liquidated, but Božidar Spasić does not believe that.
“Then why would they hire him to kill someone, then we would have to hire someone to kill him,” he says.
