GK’s librarian and her daughter, with developmental disabilities, recently moved from Ulica Borivoja Stevanovića 15 in Medak 3, leaving behind a four-room apartment that resembles a garbage dump full of dead cats.
– A mentally ill librarian and her daughter (30) with special needs lived in the apartment. She buried the carcasses of the cats in a large concrete pot on the terrace of the apartment, while storing the leftovers in the bags that she had been taking out of the containers for years! Some tenants called all possible services for 12 years, but no one wanted to solve the problem. A neighbor, who lives downstairs below them, finally managed to find an investor who agreed to buy this apartment, which without exaggeration looks like a set from a horror movie. The two got a 36-square-meter studio apartment in Mali Mokri Lug, says one of the tenants.

He adds that the cleaning took days, but the renovation is still ahead.
– 1,300 garbage bags were removed from the apartment! Supposedly 30 dead cats were found, but I did not see them. The garbage collection was paid around 400,000 dinars The cleaners took photos of the horrible scenes over the phone, but I didn’t have the stomach to see it. The whole building was disinfected four times due to the carcasses of animals and a lot of beetles found inside – says the tenant.
A neighbor claims that the librarian comes from a respectable family.

– I heard that your parents and your husband were painters. I don’t know what happened to him, but suddenly he collapsed mentally and began to take garbage out of the container – the older woman said briefly, while one of the neighbors said that the librarian and her daughter did not even have an identity card.
The investor who bought the apartment paid around 400,000 dinars to take out the trash.
