This evening three photos showing the lifeless and decapitated body of a man were shown at a press conference, which were collected in the investigation against Veljko Belivuk and his group. President Aleksandar Vučić said the investigation has been expanded and the group is now suspected of having committed four murders.

A week ago, Vučić announced that he would publish monstrous recordings of torture, killings and murders, which were suspected of having been committed by members of Veljko Belivuk’s group. He renounced that intention because, as he said today, he accepted the appeal of the parents of the young people who disappeared in recent years, and that they may be victims of this group and may be in those recordings.

However, at tonight’s press conference, held after the National Security Council session, three photos of disturbing content were shown: they showed the lifeless body of a man with a Red Star coat of arms tattooed on his right leg, a decapitated body and a severed head.

Vučić said there were two people in question and that Police Minister Aleksandar Vulin suspected that one of them was a Partizan fan, but did not specify what he was referring to.

Vučić said the investigation against Belivuk’s group was expanded and they are now suspected of committing not three, but four murders. Some of the evidence was obtained by borrowing equipment with which the police managed to access the content from the phones that had a special protection system, “Sky”, which is often used by criminals.

“The war between the two clans Zvicer and Bojovic has reached the worst possible scale in which people were murdered in a monstrous way. It is clear to you that now we know about the fourth murder, we believe it will be the fifth, sixth and seventh,” he said Vucic. He added that evidence is still being collected.

President Vučić was referring to Radoje Zvicev, the head of the Kavač clan, whose partner was Belivuk, and Luka Bojović, a notorious criminal whose criminal group is at war with the “Kavčani”.

He also claimed that the state dealt with various criminal groups, but also announced new clashes.

“There is a younger group of heirs to the same criminal group who think they have already taken space and will be able to continue, I just want to tell you tonight that they will soon be dispersed and placed where they belong – behind bars,” Vucic said.

Our struggle will be relentless, but in accordance with the law, in accordance with the constitution, but also in accordance with justice, morality, but also in accordance with the needs of the citizens of Serbia.

Neither the President nor the Police Minister wanted to comment on the interview given by former Partizan Vice President Vladimir Vuletić to KRIK when asked by Pink journalists, in which he spoke about the links between Government Secretary General Novak Nedić and Belivuk. Vuletic also said that for a time Aleksandar Vidojevic was more influential in the gang of hooligans than Belivuk, with whom the president’s son is often in company.

Instead, they announced revenge against Vuletic, that the public will soon find out what his connections to Belivuk are and what he did.

Vulin said he wishes Vuletic could “feel embarrassed.”

“He knows very well why he should be ashamed of what he said for what he did,” he said, but did not explain what he meant.

Belivuk and members of his group were arrested in early February. Criminal Milan Ljepoja, Partizan fans Goran Veličković and Zdravko Radojević are suspected of being killed.

The prosecution is also examining traces of money, and the group is also suspected of 100 grams of drugs and illegal possession of weapons. Read more about the research here.

KRIK previously wrote that the police marked Beluvuk and his associates as members of the Montenegrin Kavač clan. Before his arrest, Belivuk was in Montenegro visiting Radoje Zvicer, the leader of this clan. We remind you that the people of Kavča have been at war with the Skaljar clan and associated groups for years, and about 50 people died in the war.

The Kavač group was close to people from both the police and politics, including Gendarmerie member Nenad Vučković Vučko, Government Secretary General Novak Nedić and former MUP Secretary Dijana Hrkalović. Read more about this in a separate text.
