Petar Đurić, son of the famous painter Ljubiša Đurić, sued Zemun Hospital, claiming he was responsible for the fact that, due to the lack of a respirator, his father passed away from the crown on April 14.

After his death, Petar addressed the media with only one goal: to discover the truth about how his father died. He showed medical documentation referring to his father to a respirator, then claimed there was no respirator.

The carelessness is what hurt young Đurić, but his wish to let the public in Serbia know what the reality is in kovid hospitals, unlike the one presented to us by officials, was not granted because the pro-regime media did not inform the respect.

Until protests broke out in Belgrade and Petar found himself in front of the H1 camera due to the circumstances.

Responding to the question of why he is at the protest, he said, among other things: “Dad, this is for you.” No slogan, no message resonated so strongly and became a symbol of the fight for justice and truth, like this one.

Of course, the state machinery was not silent at all that could shake it, so Prime Minister Brnabić stated that no one in Serbia died from lack of respirators or waiting for a respirator.

Aleksandar Vučić went one step further, accusing Petra of having a criminogenic past, that she ran away from school as a student, and that she was among the first in class to have a mobile phone.

Petar Đurić also received evidence from the court that he was not convicted and that no legal proceedings are being conducted against him.

He called for a televised duel between the state president, the prime minister, the health minister and others who “tried to discredit him with falsehoods.” “Then let’s see in direct contact who is telling us the truth,” Đurić said.

Petar was born in Majdanpek in 1989. He is a basketball coach by profession and graduated in Sports Management from Tiffin University in the United States.

He has a 16-month-old son, Lázaro. He proudly points out that he comes from an artistic family: his father was a master of painting, his mother is an art history teacher, and his sister is a graduate actress and teacher of set design.

“My father was hardworking and educated, persistent and a fighter for human rights and the truth. Above all altruistic. The most important lesson I learned from him is that desire does not change anything, and that a decision changes everything”, we Petar said when we asked him to tell us a few words about his father.
