The socialists are in a different format, weaker, in the Government, the leader of the SPS, Ivica Dačić, is the president of the Assembly, are they the ones who think that he is excluded because the function is formal, right?
– The office of President of the Assembly is consciously or unconsciously minimized in our country, and that is wrong. I think it is a strong function for the party that Dacic leads, and certainly for the parliamentary life of the country, no matter who is in that position. I believe that political life should return to the Assembly, we need a parliamentary debate to bring it to life. And the SPS felt that this was a good deal for them. Everyone is losing sight of the fact that the SNS can do without all of us and that it does not need us mathematically or politically.

– I saw it, I like that comment, because it is an association with a former footballer from Sarajevo. It is tragicomic for me, however, to read that they cannot imagine that I can do without a function, and for me it was a mining business. There are also some comments that are, from my point of view, tragic and unfair to me. Until now they have criticized me for being in the Government and now they wonder what I will not be.
And will it be unusual for you that you do not go to work for the government on Thursday morning?
– It won’t be unusual for me! For example, for 12 years I didn’t go anywhere on vacation, not even for a day.
On the candidacy for the presidency
Are you seriously considering the election, planning to run for president?
– I believe that the coalition that leads the SNS will have a candidate. It would be a mistake to have more of them within the coalition, and if that were the case, our party would also have it, but I think it is more rational for Vučić as president of the SNS to be a candidate and for us to support his candidacy. I think that’s the only way we can count on victory.
