According to her, the number of patients in the KBC “Bežanijska kosa” is in line with the beginning of the week.

– So, on Monday we had 24 hospitalizations, the day before yesterday 30. That is a significantly higher number of patients than in recent weeks. The hospitalizations were mostly middle-aged men, around 45 years of age, with moderate and severe clinical symptoms.

He adds that although there are more men than women in the hospital, that should not deceive us.

– It is interesting that women have a milder course of the disease before entering menopause than men. We have about 160 patients, they are covered by the new therapeutic protocol – said Dr. Zdravković, adding that patients generally do not know where they got infected.
