Representatives of various opposition parties met on their own initiative today with the leadership of the Serbian public service RTS, the New Party announced.

It was stated that the two sides agreed that the political situation in Serbia, in which neither of the opponents is part of the Assembly, requires a different approach to reporting.

The main theme was that the RTS leadership “must be guided by professional ethics, the rule of law and respect for the law”, mainly the Public Services Law, which underlines the need to create conditions to restore political pluralism, representation of the opposition and critical opinions and attitudes in public.
