SM (47) and NM (56) from Obrenovac were arrested for domestic violence, that is, neglect of a minor and lack of assistance.
That is, as suspected, they neglected the developmental needs of their daughter (16), who was otherwise pregnant, for a longer period of time, from last year to mid-March this year in the unsanitary settlement of Čukarica on Obrenovački put.
It turns out that the girl gave birth in a makeshift barracks. After learning about it, the police reacted immediately and found a newborn at the scene, which was hidden in a trough not far from the barracks where the minor mother gave birth.
The baby was in serious condition and, according to doctors, was found at the last minute. The mother and the newborn were placed in the GAK Popular Front.
Police also found a knife believed to have cut through the perforated tape.
The arrested parents were taken into police custody.
