Eyewitnesses to this horrible accident told “Blic” that the boy was getting off the bus with his grandmother, but the driver did not notice and closed the door and at that moment the boy fell out of the vehicle and hit his head against the sidewalk at the bus stop.

According to eyewitnesses, the scene was horrible and shocking …

– The boy was lying on the cement, people gathered around him trying to help him … We hoped he would survive, but the boy looked very bad … – said the girl who attended the tragedy.

As they say, at the time of the accident, the four-year-old was with his grandmother, who barely said during the attempt to resuscitate the child: “What am I going to do now? I have no one but him … “

The driver of the bus from which the child fell allegedly did not even realize that a tragedy had occurred at the bus stop. After the boy fell from the vehicle, he continued driving in the direction of the turnpike in Zemun.

The police stopped the driver in Voždovac

However, on Triše Karcerovića street in Voždovac, he was intercepted by the police. According to unofficial information, even then he did not know what it was about and why the police detained him.

– The driver did not have any information about this accident, he did not see anything, nor did any of the bus passengers give him any sign that the accident had occurred. He continued driving and found out about the accident only when the police stopped him. The driver is in shock because he found out what happened, they said in the GSP statement.

GSP: An investigation has started, the driver has been suspended

The utility company GSP “Belgrade” conveyed its condolences to the family of the boy who died last night in the Zemun accident, and announced that it had launched an investigation into the accident and that the bus driver was suspended.

– JKP GSP “Belgrade” with the deepest regret, expresses its condolences for the tragic death of a child who suffered serious injuries in today’s accident on a bus on line 18 ” – it is stated in the GSP announcement
