According to him, they will be in charge solely of this law.
He points out that 20 inspectors have already been trained to carry out this work, which practically begins on March 12, when it is prescribed that the Law of Determination of the Origin of Property and Special Tax is applied.
That number, Mali says, is enough to start with, and the other 40 inspectors will be trained in the meantime and will complete the number of 60 people scheduled to investigate the property’s origin.
According to him, the changes that occurred in the last two days before the deputies in the Serbian Assembly, were aimed precisely at that the law can be implemented more efficiently and quickly.
“The law is a confirmation of the efforts of the Government of Serbia and its commitment to fight corruption. In its implementation, it is important that it is applied to all citizens and that there are no withdrawn people,” Mali explained to Tanjug.
This, he emphasizes, means that anyone who cannot prove they made money legally or increased their property disproportionately to their income will be the subject of an investigation.
