This is foreseen by the modification of the Special Collective Agreement for Cultural Institutions, whose founder is Serbia, an autonomous province and local self-government unit, which was signed today with the representatives of three unions in the field of culture by the Minister of Culture and Information Maja Gojkovic.
Gojković pointed out that the modification of the Special Collective Agreement is, above all, a kind of assurance that they will not be left without a part of their monthly income, which means a lot in such circumstances, if they fall ill with this disease, the ministry announced.
The Minister emphasized that considering the situation of culture and all that cultural workers are doing to overcome the crisis in which Serbia and the whole world find themselves, this is undoubtedly of great importance for all artists.
– In this way, we wanted to clearly show the responsibility and status of caring for cultural workers and appreciating their work and work so that citizens have cultural content, despite the pandemic – Gojković emphasized.
Gojković signed the amendment to the special collective agreement with the representatives of the Independent Trade Union of Culture of Serbia, GS Culture, Arts and Media “Nezavisnost” and the Confederation of Free Trade Unions, commission of the branch of culture Jovan Dinčić, Dragan Milanović and Smiljan Stokić.
Gojković spoke with union representatives about the crisis headquarters measures, who supported the minister’s proposal that the representative of the Ministry of Culture and Information be part of the Crisis Staff for the necessary interpretation of the measures adopted in completely different ways of artistic creation.
