On the occasion of a larger quantity of weapons found on the territory of the Bujanovac municipality, the Serbian Ministry of the Interior also spoke out.
– In the Končulj village area, in the Bujanovac municipality area, in a cavity under a rock, nine containers with a handheld rocket launcher, 137 ammunition for a grenade launcher, an anti-tank mine, a box with night vision binoculars , four boxes with 1,436 pieces of rifle ammunition of various calibers, an optical sight and a camouflage uniform. On the order of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Vranje High Prosecutor’s Office, members of the police and the counter-leadership team of the Police Brigade carried out an investigation, the Serbian Ministry of Interior announced.
The Office of the Prosecutor ordered the police to file criminal charges against unknown perpetrators for the existence of reasons to suspect that they committed the crime of illicit production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosives.
– The members of the police, by order of the prosecution, are taking all measures and actions within their competence to shed light on this criminal act – added the Serbian Interior Ministry.
