According to the agreement in principle by the Montenegrin parliamentary majority, two vice-presidents of the parliament will be elected in the next seven-day session: Bozena Jelusic from the “Black on White” coalition and Strahinja Bulajic from the “For the future of Montenegro” coalition.
The DPS has not yet decided who will be its candidate for the vice-presidency of the Assembly, according to the Podgorica media, and the possibility remains that in case minorities are part of the ruling majority, the Assembly elects a fourth vice president of the minority parties.
The formation of the Board of Directors, which will have 13 members, is also on the agenda of the Assembly next Tuesday.
It was agreed in principle that the president of that body would be from the parliamentary club DF-Nova-DNP.
It was also agreed to prepare a proposal to modify the Assembly Regulations as soon as possible in order to allow voting from home or from another place in the event that deputies cannot attend sessions due to the corona virus.
As the leader of the URA movement, Dritan Abazović, said, the concrete names of the people in the new government will be discussed next week and “everything will be defined” in the next month.
Abazovic said that the concept between him and the designated prime minister of the new government, Zdravko Krivokapic, will be spearheaded by professionals from the National Security Agency (ANB) and the Police Directorate, “so no people of political color or members clear politicians of certain groups “, was completely agreed. and that these solutions have the support of the international community.
As the designated prime minister wrote on his Twitter profile, “it is impossible in our environment for the government to be completely expert, but the politicians who enter the government will have to demonstrate experience in the departments they lead.”
Earlier, he said that experts and politicians would be in key positions in the future government and that a new government would be formed by November 10-11.
The president for the composition of the new government of Montenegro affirms that work is being done on “the reactivation of the state, in which everyone should be complicit, so that Montenegro finally becomes a state that will be an example, not only for the region, but also beyond”.
Meanwhile, Krivokapić’s closest associates and circles close to the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Litoral are pressuring the new prime minister to form his own party as soon as possible, as the Montenegrin media write.
It is true that Krivokapić will accept it, and that the party would be of Christian-Christian orientation, close to the Metropolitanate, like many European parties very close to ecclesiastical organizations in those countries.
The main political motive for the formation of the new party is the removal of Krivokapic from the Democratic Front, with which the new prime minister does not share opinions on many issues, as indicated.
The new party, as indicated, would include intellectuals close to the Metropolitan and those who supported the protests of the church against the Law of Religious Freedom with petitions.
The top of the party would be representatives of the NGO “We will not give Montenegro”, whose president Krivokapic was on the eve of the August elections and the formation of the coalition “For the future of Montenegro”.
Billboards in support of Amfilohije
Following the news that the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Litoral, Amfilohije, is being treated by kovida 19 at the Podgorica Clinical Center, photos of billboards with wishes for recovery circulate on social media. Yesterday a sign appeared in Tivat and it was written: “We are destined to carry the cross. Boka is with his bishop.” And in the center of Trebinje, there is a photograph of the metropolitan on the billboard, on top of which it says “God keep you”, and below the signature “Your Trebinje”. The MCP stated that Amfilohije is in a stable health condition, including all vital parameters.
