Today, at the Belgrade Fair, the Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, received the Chinese vaccine against the coronavirus and stated that so far 85,000 citizens have been vaccinated in Serbia.
“Nothing hurts, I don’t have any discomfort. I received a Chinese vaccine. I have no side effects,” Obradović told reporters after the vaccination, adding that when he requested the vaccine, he did not decide which vaccine he wanted to receive.
Obradovic said that so far, 488,000 people have requested the vaccination through the website or the Call Center.
He stated that 30,500 calls were sent today to citizens across Serbia to get vaccinated, but those who come voluntarily for vaccination will also be vaccinated and that no one will be returned.
Obradović estimated that vaccination in Serbia is excellently organized, that there are around 200 places where citizens are vaccinated, as well as that there are several vaccination points in each place.
He called on citizens to request vaccination and stressed the importance of vaccinating as many people as possible.
Obradović also said that they made badges that read “I am vaccinated and you are.”
