In a written statement, Obradovic asked Dacic to immediately schedule consultations between the government and representatives of the opposition, “in which we would agree on the dynamics of that dialogue: when exactly will it start, when it must end, how the agreement will be implemented and how long. must remain “. before the early elections at all levels to implement the conditions for all these elections to be truly free and fair. “

“If Dacic is not willing to accept this concrete, constructive and well-intentioned proposal coming from the opposition, it means that its new role is to delay the dialogue and confuse the citizens, as it has done so far,” said the Dveri leader. .

On Tuesday, the President of the Assembly announced that he would discuss the continuation of the inter-party dialogue in Serbia with the European Parliament only after the approval of the state budget for 2021, that is, issues, time and who will be the European representatives in that dialogue.

“I hope that the dialogue will continue early next year,” Dacic said, explaining that it is now necessary to discuss the format as some parties are no longer in the Assembly.

However, according to Obradovic, Dacic does not need the European Parliament for consultations with opposition representatives, but “good will and basic democratic culture”.

“There is no reason to wait for the participation of the European Parliament delegation, but we can start this work ourselves, and the EP representatives can always join in,” Obradović said in a statement.
