Numerous irregularities in the repeated municipal elections in Sabac – Politics

Given the large number of irregularities reported to the City Election Commission by members of the voting boards, the City Election Commission informs the public about the circumstances under which repeated voting is conducted at 27 polling stations.

As one of the irregularities, the public vote was reported in polling stations number 16 – Donji Shore 2, 18 – Donji Shore 4, 41 – Majur 3, 49 – Petkovica, 65 – Orid, 82-Potcerski Pricinovic, 86-Sinosevic .

In the vicinity of the electoral college no. 34 – Tabanović, the presence of the candidate’s father was reported on the SNS list, which offers voters who come to the polling station money for a given vote.

An identical situation was reported at Electoral College 36 Ševarica, where one of the SNS councilor candidates, along with another SNS member, also gave money to voters who went to the polls.

The Commission reported this case to the police at nine in the morning. In the vicinity of polling station 100 – Donja Rumska, at a distance of less than 50 m, a vehicle (Commission with known license plates) was sighted in which an unknown person was sitting and registering the voters who came to vote.

All the irregularities that have been reported so far refer to the supporters and voters of the SNS. Furthermore, in five polling stations (Orid, Donji Shore 2, Donji Shore 4, Majur…) it was stated that the members or those who sold their vote voted publicly, probably to justify the money received.

In this way and with this action of the SNS, the conditions have already been met for the elections to be repeated again in seven polling stations. Furthermore, all fixed lines, which were handed over to the members of the polling stations as contacts with the Commission, have been blocked since this morning.

The flaw was reported to Telekom, but, until the announcement was made, the flaw was not removed, making contact with the polling stations difficult. Until today, there have been no problems in the operation of these telephone lines, and the rest of the lines of the Sabac Municipal Administration building are in operation. By the way, the coordinator of IJ Telecom in Sabac is Boban Birmancevic, the SNS commissioner in Sabac.

In this way, “Telekom” infamously became involved in the dirtiest electoral campaign ever conducted in Serbia.

Throughout the city, especially near the polling stations, progressives formed their “headquarters” and, as “Podrinske” finds out, the main headquarters, since everything is coordinated, is located in the “Kamila” Restaurant on Kosta Street Abrasevica (in front of the Sabac Library).

There were also threats to journalists during the report. A TV Sabac cameraman was attacked in front of the polling station near the “Laza K. Lazarevic” elementary school, and a journalist from this TV was also threatened.

In addition, the same team was threatened in Potcerski Pričinović, and the journalist from “Podrinski” did no better, who filmed SNS activists who, with the lists, “control” their voters and intimidate voters in front of the school primary school “Jevrem Obrenović”.
