– Now that I am not a minister, everyone calls me with the same question: “What are you going to do now?” The phone won’t stop ringing. Well, I did not die, I just retired, I kept the promise I made a few months ago – that I would not enter the new government – says Ljajic and admits that he is tired of explaining that he is not an eternal minister, and that he does not care about the chair .
When asked if he saw the ghosts of the montages on social media and the comments about his departure from government after two decades, Ljajic said he would like everyone to be a minister for just a month or two to see what a mining job is like. .
– Being a minister does not mean simply sitting down, having a car and a driver, a telephone. If I had the power, I would take everyone from social media to the government to see what the executive branch really is, what problems they face, and what they solve. That’s much more than the privileges he has, says Ljajić, adding:
– However, one of the comments on that topic that I saw made me laugh sincerely: “The government is not formed (so long) because they do not know how to form a government without Rasim” (laughs).
And now the campaign
In the next period, as he himself affirms, he will dedicate himself to strengthening the party and preparing well for the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections in Belgrade.
– As of November 15, I will start the campaign for the parliamentary, Belgrade and presidential elections. I will visit each municipality, the largest two times during the next year. Now I will work in the campaign with more energy and enthusiasm, to strengthen the party, to be even stronger in the next Executive Power. Like I said, I’m going to go back – affirms Ljajić.
The former minister also points out that he will finally have more time for himself, adding that he has not been on vacation for 12 years.
