“Novosti” published documents on the accounts in Mauritius and Switzerland, Djilas denied everything

“Večernje novosti” announced that they had an idea from the documentation that supposedly shows that two accounts were opened in Mauritius and five in Switzerland in the name of the company “Askanius”, owned by Dragan Đilas.

In the previous days, Djilas denied having private accounts in Mauritius and Switzerland, saying that he had no private accounts anywhere except in Serbia. Djilas told the press conference that he does not have a company in Mauritius and that he is not authorized in any way there.

– I was only once with my family on vacation and that’s all my contact with that island – Djilas said.

“Novosti” now claims to have taken possession of the documentation that they revealed tonight on TV Pink and which supposedly shows otherwise.

According to these complaints, in Mauritius at “Deutsche Bank”, the account whose Djilas was the formal owner at the end of last year contained exactly 5,741,025 euros. The responsible company is Ascanius LTD.

The second document concerns the account at the bank “Societe Generale” in Switzerland, which is kept at “Multikom open AG”. According to “Novosti”, that company is officially represented by Gojko Djilas, but Dragan Djilas and one Schmidt Pascal are also listed as signatories. In December of last year, there were 620,147 euros in the account.

In the previous days, Djilas stated on the occasion of the company in Switzerland that in April 2014, “Multicom”, of which he was a minority co-owner, sold his company “Direct Media”, with all the companies that make it up, 17 were paid , 7 million euros, he says, in two tranches, to the local account in Belgrade. A tax of about € 2.2 million was paid to Serbia on that money, says Djilas.
