Ivan Kontić (30) from Nikšić, suspected of beating a 28-year-old boy on Jevrejska street in Novi Sad and inflicting serious bodily injury on him, was arrested two years ago for possession of a revolver and cocaine in Nikšić.
In 2018, agents from the Drug Enforcement Department and the Nikšić Security Center found an illegal revolver near Kontić and a powdered substance suspected of being cocaine near his partner Matija Božović.
During the control of the “Mercedes” off-road vehicle, without license plates, the police found near Kontić a Zastava Magnum 357 revolver with six bullets, while Božović “discarded a PVC package with a powdered substance that is presumed to be cocaine”, Vijesti reported at the time. “.
The competent prosecutors ordered that the revolver and the aforementioned material be sent to the Danilovgrad Forensic Center for expertise, followed by the filing of criminal charges against Kontić and one misdemeanor charge against Božović.

Kontić is suspected of hitting the young man several times to the head and body, as a result of which he lost consciousness, and then broke both of the injured man’s forearms.
