Siniša Mali spoke in front of the White House, where he stated the following:

– Big, huge pressures. At first, we got a role never worse than when the negotiations began. The paper never burns, there are 16 points on the table, of which the tenth point implies mutual recognition. Very few economic issues, we knew that the issues would be around 10. There are also economic issues, issues related to the construction of infrastructure, roads, railways … But, there is enormous pressure. The struggle that continues, the president is fighting, if he is going to hold out, we’ll see. Of course we will fight to the end, surrender is not an option.

What was the reaction from the Serbian side?

– What can be? We came up with the idea of boosting the region’s economy, investing three, four billion in infrastructure, agriculture, small and medium enterprises. That was our platform, and then point 10 arrives. Neither the economic issue, nor anything else, the fight continues. We fight for the interests of Serbia, our people in Kosovo, difficult and tough talks. You have between 15 and 20 people who are against you, who react aggressively to every sentence … But we will not give up. We still have conversations, we fight for every word, some things are just unacceptable, period.
