New measures to suppress the spread of the coronavirus are taking effect in Serbia, which will last for the next ten days.
The new anti-epidemic measures are the reduction of the working day until 18:00 in restaurants, cafes, bars, discos, betting houses and shopping centers, and the mandatory and unconditional use of a protective mask indoors, as well as outdoors in those situations in which interpersonal contacts cannot be avoided.
All public gatherings with the presence of more than five people indoors and outdoors are prohibited. Companies, schools, shops, shopping malls and similar facilities are excepted from this measure, for which the rule is that they must contribute four square meters per person.
The new measure enables work from home for all employees whose work process allows it, as well as a strict control of the obligation to wear a protective mask in public transport vehicles, limiting the maximum number of passengers in the vehicle to half of the declared capacity of the vehicle.
A strict control of the implementation of home isolation, self-isolation, as well as all other measures against the epidemic is in force.
