The Government of Serbia today prescribed new protection measures against the spread of the coronavirus, which will be applied from Tuesday, November 24, Danas was confirmed in Nemanjina 11.

The measures include shortening the working day until 6 p.m. in restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, bookmakers and shopping centers.

The second measure is the compulsory and unconditional use of personal protective equipment (with a protective mask) indoors, as well as outdoors in those situations where interpersonal contacts cannot be avoided.

“Prohibition of all public meetings with the presence of more than five people, indoors and outdoors. Labor organizations, schools, businesses, shopping centers and similar facilities are exempt from this measure, for which the limit prescribed in the number of people present at all times in relation to the surface of the facility (minimum 4 m2 per person) ”, indicates the third measure.

The Government of Serbia has enabled work from home to all employees whose work process allows it, but also a strict control of the obligation to wear a protective mask in public transport vehicles, with the limitation of the maximum number of passengers in the vehicle to half the declared capacity of the vehicle.

The sixth measure is the strict control of the implementation of home isolation, home quarantine (self-isolation), as well as all other anti-epidemic measures that are in force.

As said, these measures are limited to a period of 10 days, after which they will be reconsidered.

It should be remembered that the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, said yesterday that the crisis staff did not talk about the introduction of the curfew, but about measures to cut off contacts between citizens.
