“The catering and service facilities will only be able to operate until 5 in the afternoon on weekdays, and on weekends they will not be able to work at all, is one of the new measures proposed by the Crisis Staff, which the government will adopt in the session Thursday, “he confirmed. Flash “.

The new measures, thus, will come into force on Friday, December 4, which means that they will be in force as of this weekend, and as we learn, they should be in effect for two weeks from the adoption.

It should be remembered that the plenary session of the Crisis Staff, which analyzed the situation with the corona virus, lasted yesterday from 12 to 13 hours approximately, but the medical part continued the session in order to define with greater precision the proposal for new measures that they later presented to the Serbian government.

As sources close to the Crisis Staff informed us, yesterday part-time work was proposed for many activities, in addition to closing during the weekend.

The medical work proposal is, as we found out, and what the government will adopt, that catering and trade companies, restaurants, cafes and bars, clubs, shopping centers, game rooms, betting houses, shops and all other stores, Beauty and hair salons, beauty salons, fitness centers, gyms and gyms, spas and swimming pools they can work from Monday to Friday until 5 pm, and on weekends they can’t work at all (that is, from Friday at 5:00 p.m. to Monday at 5:00 a.m.).

The great novelty of the new proposed measures, therefore, refers to service activities. Hairdressers, beauty salons and the like, but also boutiques that are not in shopping centers, according to existing measures, can operate until 9:00 p.m. With the shortening of the working day to 5 p.m., a drastic change is that all of that, along with the catering facilities, will be closed for the weekend.

Other facilities and working hours

The new measures, which will be adopted by the government on Thursday, are as follows:

  • grocery stores can be open every day until 9pm, including weekends
  • pharmacies, gas stations for refueling and delivery of food by courier can operate indefinitely, seven days a week;
  • theaters and cinemas can be open every day until 5pm, including weekends
  • The markets from Monday to Friday can operate regularly and on weekends from 6 am to 3 pm.

Focus on contact, CRP and travel prevention in the next session

By the way, yesterday the headquarters also discussed the introduction of a mandatory PCR test for our people from abroad who would come to Serbia during the holidays, but nothing was specified on this subject, but the subject was left for the next session of the Staff of Crisis.

According to our source, yesterday the focus was on what measures should be taken as soon as possible to avoid establishing contacts, considering that this is precisely our burning problem.

Incidentally, Ana Brnabić, the Prime Minister of Serbia, stated today that new measures were discussed in yesterday’s Crisis Staff session, and that opinions are different, as well as that she will discuss the introduction of new measures with President Aleksandar Vučić today.

– We monitor the situation across Europe, the introduction and relaxation of measures in the EU and beyond, and we are guided by this in relation to our situation. After this visit, I have a meeting with Vučić and together we will consider some measures, and if we take more restrictive measures, we will see it in the number of infected people today – said Brnabić on Pink’s morning show.

He added that the state will come out with new measures today or tomorrow.

The introduction of the curfew was also not discussed yesterday, nor is that option being considered at all.
