NEW MEASURES ARE BEGINNING IN SERBIA: Pay attention, this is what is changing

Starting today, the opening hours of shops, restaurants, hairdressers and beauty salons, gyms, swimming pools, toy libraries will be until 5 in the afternoon, and they will not work on weekends.

Grocery stores, kiosks, and on weekdays and weekends can be open until 9 pm, and pharmacies and gas stations without restrictions. Markets will be open on weekends until 3pm, while on-site restaurants and bars and private accommodations may exclusively serve registered guests until 9pm daily.

According to the government’s decision, the surgeries and labs can operate around the clock, including weekends. Facilities and businesses that provide services that do not require the presence of users or the presence and contact of a limited duration, such as appliances, technical services, tailors, shoemakers and glass cutters, can operate on weekdays until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturdays until 5:00 p.m. .

The sports facilities will also work on weekends, but only for registered competitions. Cultural institutions will be open until 5 pm every day.

All these measures were adopted with the aim of minimizing social contacts and the Government announced that the competent inspectorates and the communal militia would strictly control their observance. The goal is to curb the epidemic and reduce pressure on hospitals, with up to 7,726 people suffering from kovid, 288 of whom use respirators.
