Renting chalets and houses for longer, in places not far from the city, but enough for families to get away from the noise and “noise” of the city is something that is becoming common in our country. Therefore, the most interesting are Fruška Gora, Grocka, Ripanj, Avala, Nova Pazova, but let’s say Divčibare and Kosmaj, as well as many smaller places that are connected by road to Belgrade, Novi Sad and other city centers. Already during the summer, many moved to Zlatibor for a time, but also to spas in Serbia, so many of them extended their stay in these places.
This is confirmed to us by the owner of the house in Zlatibor, who has already rented his property for a period of six months, with the possibility of extending it as well.
“This is not for holidays and our guests are not interested in it at the moment, but it is becoming ultra popular. Simply families with very young children, in which both spouses work remotely, equate this type of housing with holidays , because they can work without problems, while for the children they have a playground to play and then they have to rest in ‘their’ nature ”, says our interlocutor.
He adds that he also knows many fellow neighbors who have rented apartments not only to families, but also to individuals who are, let’s say, promoters, and who have decided to work from the mountains for a while.
“Many of those who live in apartments in the city have decided to move from the cities, especially since many companies now work remotely and can still be employed in their company and live in the country. They need to have good internet access. And let’s say the proximity of a store or a busy street, and we provide them with bedding and dishes, so they don’t have to carry many things. The most important thing for them is that they get away from the city, have their freedom and nature ”, explains the owner of this property.
For example, houses in Zlatibor can be rented for the price of 600 euros per month, while prices go up to 5,000 euros per month, for those who, for example, have a swimming pool and similar facilities, and are 20 kilometers from the town. Belgrade downtown. On the other hand, there are much cheaper houses, up to 200, 300 euros a month.
Real estate expert Milić Đoković says this is nothing unusual because everyone tries to be in the safest place possible to preserve their health, but also their peace.
These are specific cases because they require special conditions and depend a lot on the equipment of the installation itself. For example, it is necessary that these houses have very good internet and are well covered by the network, but also that the roads are good and everything is infrastructurally connected. software companies that are going to work in this type of house outside the city for practically 15 days each one ”, says our interlocutor.
The advantage is that they are twenty minutes from the city center, they have peace, nature and most of the groceries are cheaper.
A similar phenomenon exists in the vicinity of Novi Sad, as Sanja Rafajlović, director of Real House Real Estate tells us, but adds that a distinction must be made between the huts mentioned at the beginning of the pandemic, when everyone “ran” to settlements. weekend. .
“We’ve had cases where, let’s say, people in the IT sector rent cabins for a few months and generally people who work remotely. Then they were cabins for a period of pleasant and warm climate, because they are not conditioned to live all year round. many of them are unheated, so it is not the same now as it was in the first pandemic wave. Now, for example, we often look for weekend houses for some smaller celebrations, bachelorette parties or a little team building, ”explains Rafajlović.
