MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle) is the name used in military terminology for vehicles that are resistant to mines and explosives and have an appropriate degree of ballistic protection of the shipping part, which allows the protection of the small arms crew and certain types of anti-tank weapons. They are used to transport a unit in dangerous situations, such as war situations or to participate in multinational operations in high-risk areas, which require vehicles with high protection, passability and mobility.

The new M-20 MRAP 6×6 armored fighting vehicle is the result of national intelligence, the knowledge of our engineers and a product of national factories. It is a vehicle whose purpose is the safe transport of units and that has a high level of ballistic and anti-mine protection. In addition, the ability to open fire from the vehicle places it in the range of the best global solutions in that category.

Taking into account that the medium-term objective of our army is not to transport any of our soldiers in a canvas truck, a new vehicle that is capable of transporting our units safely, safely and quickly and protecting them from the effects of various infantry firearms, but also different mines, it is a big step forward.

In this solution, the transmission with a 205 kW motor, a nine-speed gearbox and a two-speed differential transmission distributor is located at the front and center of the vehicle on the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The vehicle has permanent all-wheel drive. The driver is on the left side and the commander is on the right. The boarding and disembarking part of the crew is located at the rear of the vehicle. The total number of crew members is 12: driver, commander, machine gunner and nine crew members. The crew enters and exits the armored body through a door in the rear panel of the vehicle.

There are also two openings in the roof panel so that, if necessary, the crew can use them for forced entry or exit. The side doors are used by the driver and the commander. The seats in the loading and unloading part are connected to the roof of the vehicle, they can be folded up and efficiently absorb shocks and vibrations through a system of guides and springs, which increases driving comfort.
