NEW FACTS FROM PROFESSOR KOČOVIĆ: We are finally out of the black zone, and this is when you predict the end of the third wave.

According to the latest data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), Serbia is in the dark gray zone, in a group of 500-1,000 infected in 14 days. More precisely, according to these data, our country has an average of 887 new infected during the last two weeks.

This was also announced on his Facebook profile by prof. Petar Kočović, an IT expert who, together with his team, has been forecasting the epidemic for months, based on a calculation based on the Gaussian curve.

And if we have seen a decrease in the number of new cases in recent days, we are still far from a safe zone. The descent of the “black top” of the table has begun, but we are still a long way from the “green oasis” and the category of up to 15 new patients in 14 days.

The third wave of coronavirus began on September 14 and is estimated to last much longer than the previous two.

Professor Kočović has now estimated, based on his calculations, that the end of the third corona virus attack awaits us on February 18 next year. For that to happen, we must first respect all epidemiological measures.

Epidemiologist Dr. Predrag Kon confirmed today that this is a turning point and emphasized that “we cannot be wrong.”

– I believe that the turning point for Serbia, without exaggeration, is the arrival of the vaccine. And the most important thing now we must not make mistakes. Now we have weapons in our hands. We still have to behave in a controlled way. It is clear that the virus is going down a bit, but the hospitals are still full. At the beginning of the year, we must be careful not to spoil. If we are wrong, we will create the conditions for the transfer and give it a new impetus in mid-January – he said.

Let us remind you, in the last 24 hours, 13,201 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 3,200 tested positive for the virus. Unfortunately, 52 patients died, while there are 295 ventilator patients in hospitals throughout Serbia.
