NEW DETAILS OF THE TRAGEDY NEAR LOVĆENAC: Three young men were found in the canal – what preceded the accident was discovered (PHOTO)

The news of the deaths of girls and boys under the age of 22 shocked the whole of Serbia on Sunday morning, when two dead bodies were found in the canal near the bridge where they collided with a “BMW” driven by Dabanović, and the third in a car. in Lovćenac and Vrbas, silence reigned, and families, relatives and friends remained silent with grief.

The bodies had to be removed from the canal and the car, which was completely destroyed, by firefighters.

The municipality says the bridge over the canal should have been completed two years ago, however it has remained unfinished to this day. Right next to the bridge, there is a sharp curve, so it is necessary to pass that section very carefully and stop.

According to the information, which was immediately available, the three young men were hanging out on Saturday night and, on their return to Lovćenac, they were driving a “BMW” on 13 de Julio Street, which leads to the station of train. However, the car crashed into a concrete bridge, which was not secured or marked at all, and due to the force of the impact, the car overturned and ended up in the canal.

The dead girls and the boy were found only on Sunday morning.

– None of us knew anything yesterday. Not where they were, not what and how it happened. Mostly we thought they were taking a friend of Vrbas to the station, however now we find out that they were not, but that the girl from Vrbas should have stayed in Lovćenac with her friend and slept with her. There is great sadness in every house, we feel great pain and sympathize with our parents – says a Lovćenac resident.

According to him, the girl from Lovćenac is a unit.

– They lost their only girlfriend. God, how much they loved and loved her. I really don’t know how he will survive – says the man through tears.

– I’m not going to preach to anyone, but whoever made this bridge here the way they did it must explain to us what it is for and why it is installed that way. He is completely insecure. That makes us angry and young people are not to blame.

BP and Danilo Dabanović will be buried on Tuesday in Lovćenac and MV in Vrbas. In the municipality of Mali Iđoš, to which Lovćenac belongs, there will be a Day of Mourning on Tuesday 20 October.
