Anyone who plans to travel outside of Serbia to one of the countries in the region during the holidays should bear in mind that when they return, they will also be checked for the corona virus, it was published in the new edition of the Official Gazette. .

This measure was adopted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia at the proposal of the “Trampoline” Institute, and refers to the Easter days according to the Gregorian calendar.

It has been decided that upon their return from Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Hungary, a PCR test is mandatory for Serbian citizens, writes Telegraf.

The decision further states:

“In the Instruction on how to apply entry restrictions to the Republic of Serbia to people from countries affected by the infectious disease COVID-19 epidemic, a new paragraph 4 is added, which reads …” People who enter the Republic of Serbia from the countries mentioned in paragraph 4 of this article, and have been granted temporary residence or permanent residence in those countries, entry to the Republic of Serbia is allowed provided they present proof of RT- Negative PCR or an antigen test for the presence of the SARS virus to the territorially reliable Public Health Institute within 48 hours of crossing the state border -CoV-2, issued by the reference laboratory of the Republic of Serbia “.

However, this decision does not apply to those who have been fully vaccinated (with both doses, that is, one dose in the case of vaccination with the AstraZenec vaccine) in Serbia and who have a certificate issued by a health institution.

This instruction comes into force on the day of its publication in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, and that was yesterday, April 2.
