In the last 24 hours, 16,938 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, 5,774 of them tested positive, while 28 people died.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the Institute “Trampoline”, the respirators of the health institutions of Serbia contain 209 patients.
We remind you that the Government of Serbia has prescribed 7 protective measures against the spread of the corona virus, Blic has learned. The measures will be applied from next Tuesday, and the biggest change is the shortening of the working day of the catering facilities to 18 hours.
Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar warned today that due to the dramatic crowning of the situation in Serbia, the basic problem at the moment is the hospital capacities in Belgrade, and that the remaining and insured places are reserved only for difficult cases. He said that starting tomorrow, lighter cases will be placed in Niška Banja and, starting today, in temporary hospitals in Niš and Kragujevac.
– We have never had more tests, neither positive, nor deaths, nor those that require hospital treatment – Lončar warned after meeting with the directors of Kovid’s hospitals.
As “Blic” wrote, school classes could, due to the worsening epidemiological situation, undergo certain changes. Several options are being considered, the safest of which is that currently older classes go online and younger classes still go to classrooms.
