– For now, there is no evidence that the mutation of the virus changes the effect of the vaccine, but in the future something like this may happen. For now, all vaccines are effective – said Dr. Janković.
Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar said that tonight, 84,075 citizens of Serbia had received the corona virus vaccine.
– We are satisfied with the response and operation of the system. More than 400,000 people have registered and every minute they are more and more – said Minister Lončar and added:
What we keep repeating, he added, is that if our Medicines Agency, which has strict criteria, evaluates that something is safe and if we all receive the vaccine, “do you really think that any of us want to harm us?”
Dr. Janković noted that the contraindications for all registered vaccines are minimal.
– The contraindications for the three vaccines, since each one of them is a killed virus, are quite limited. These are allergic reactions. With the chronic ward, if there is no acute exacerbation, everyone can get the vaccine. It is no accident that people with a diagnosis cannot get the vaccine, said Dr. Janković.
– What has been noticed so far of side effects cannot be compared to kovid infection. People who are young and in top shape can take a chance to play, but unfortunately, we’ve had those situations too. We don’t have a cure for the crown, but now we finally have something that is the best form of treatment, and that is to prevent infection from happening, said Dr. Goran Stevanović.
