In the last 24 hours, 13,091 people were tested for the corona virus across Serbia, 2,823 of them tested positive, while sadly 14 people died.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampoline” Institute, there are 126 patients on ventilators in hospitals throughout Serbia.
Recall that yesterday 8,397 people were tested, of which 1,318 were positive, while unfortunately 11 people died. In yesterday’s section, there were 119 patients on ventilators in Serbian hospitals. This number of newly infected people yesterday does not represent a realistic picture, because on Mondays there are always drastically fewer positive cases due to the fact that, as Dr. Predrag Kon pointed out on several occasions, testing was significantly reduced over the weekend.
That’s why every time the last crown section is eagerly awaited on Tuesday.
This morning also comes warning information about overcrowding from our hospitals, and from Belgrade, where the situation is convincingly worse, as two days ago patients were sent to Pozarevac, Mladenovac and Smederevo for treatment.
Belgrade Mayor Zoran Radojicic said today that the Crisis Staff session will take place on Thursday, adding that the final decision on measures will depend on the balance between protecting health and the economy.
