Pulmonologist Branimir Nestorović, whose recent Facebook post about the futility of wearing masks to protect yourself from coronavirus raised a lot of dust in public, reappeared on that social network.
The reason for Nestorović’s republication was a text posted on the Istinomer website, in which it is claimed that Nestorović was referring to research that was not published by the American Institute of Public Health (as Nestorović claimed in the original post ), but by journalist Jordan Šahtel.
Caused by this text in which he is accused of presenting “false news”, Nestorović also published another link, which was also transmitted by Fox News, which gives the official position of the official American institution, and which literally says:
– The CDC has never suggested in the guidelines that masks are intended to protect those who wear them.
That is exactly what Nestorović stated in a new Facebook post, then fiercely responded to criticism.
– I would ask the person who writes these texts to sign to see their degree, I am a professor at the Faculty of Medicine. I see that the last time “infectology specialists” from an unknown faculty reacted to the claims of Slovenian doctors. Why censorship, without dialogue? – Nestorović wrote.
