Stanislava Milkovski (41) was arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of stabbing Branislav’s wife (39) in front of their home in the Zrenjanin neighborhood of Bagljaš.
What was the “trigger” for Stanislav to stab her husband, who is two years younger, in front of their five-year-old daughter MM, will be determined in the investigation. What is known for now is that neither Stanislava, called Seka, nor her husband reported domestic violence.
Neighbors and acquaintances of Branislav and Stanislava had only words of praise for this couple, describing their life together as peaceful, so it is not clear to everyone why the tragedy occurred.
They do not have a nasty word about their spouses about Jarkovac, a town near Sečanj where Stanislava grew up and where she spent almost every weekend with her husband and daughter with their parents.
– They came to Jarkovac often. We saw them walking their daughter, riding bicycles. In general, they acted like a happy family. And they were there last weekend. It was steaming from the patio so we assume they were having a barbecue. We also saw their car on Monday, they went to Zrenjanin at night. What happened when they got home, only the two of them know, Jarkovac residents say.
They only have words of praise for Stanislava, better known as Seka, as well as her husband Branislav.
– Seka finished computer science and taught in primary schools in Jarkovac and Sečanj. And her brother is an educator. In recent years, she taught in Zrenjanin and lived there in her apartment. She married Baneta, who hails from Zrenjanin, and together they bought a piece of land and built a house. They have a daughter, they get married. They also had money. He was a programmer, but she also worked from home for a foreign company. Money was not a problem for them, added the interlocutors.
Bane was, at least at first glance, a “desirable” husband and son-in-law.
– Educated, polite, good. He brought a computer here and worked from Jarkovac radio. He helped his parents in the garden, didn’t hesitate to grab a lawnmower and cut the grass, Jarkovac residents say.
It is for all these reasons that it is not clear to them why Seka pointed a knife at her husband.
– Educated, situated, financially independent. They have a daughter. We really don’t know what was wrong with them. If she could have thought that Bane had someone else, it is unlikely because he was with her and her daughter the entire time. What will happen to your daughter now? Will it be taken over by Sekin or Banet’s brother? In any case, the girl was left without both parents – the neighbors say and add that they do not know that Stanislava has ever had a mental problem, at least that was not seen in her behavior in public.
Stanislavina’s mother could hardly muster the strength to say that she did not know what preceded the murder.
– I really don’t know what happened. Don’t ask me, Stanislava is my daughter – Merima, the mother of the suspect Stanislava, said briefly, while a cry was heard behind her.
Jarkovac residents stated that Merima and Stevan, Seka’s father who is immobile, often looked after their daughter MM and that the parents left the girl with her grandparents in the village for a few days.
