The negative PCR test, no longer than 48 hours, or the 10-day quarantine for the entry of everyone, including our citizens, in Serbia is a new measure whose adoption is expected on Monday in a session of the Crisis Staff to prevent a spread even higher than the crown during the New Years and Christmas holidays.
The measures that are in force, and which is the work of everything, except food stores, pharmacies and gas stations, until 5 in the afternoon and the lock during the weekend, should be extended. And on the table, there will be the possibility of introducing a state of emergency, that is, a curfew, because there are more and more illegal parties where many people gather.
The crisis staff for the fight against kovid 19 will meet today at 3.30 pm, and the epidemiologist and crisis staff member, prof. Dr. Branislav Tiodorović said that measures should be introduced for Serbian citizens coming to the country from abroad, and measures like those in force in those countries.
– Negative PCR, no longer than 48 hours, and those who do not have it should be in quarantine for 10 days. It is safer to apply what is already being applied in Europe. There will be green lists, in which there will be some countries, like Finland, which is the best, Estonia … – declared Tiodorović for RTS.
The profession, as he said, hoped that the situation would calm down and that we would have a better trend.
– That did not happen, perhaps there is stagnation and it is not an optimistic assessment. We will have to bring measures that can be more efficient to achieve the goal and better enter the holidays – said Tiodorović, noting that “we do not need false populism”:
– If this continues, the crisis headquarters will have to think about introducing a state of emergency and curfew! And it all depends on whether we will show responsibility – emphasized Tiodorović.
Epidemiologist Dr. Predrag Kon also points out that the crisis headquarters session will certainly decide on the extent of existing measures and the possible introduction of new ones. – With the fact that it has been resolved whether there will be new measures at the borders – yes, now it is only a technical question how it will be implemented. So it has been decided – said Kon, adding that it will be possible to enter Serbia only with a PCR test or self-isolation – home quarantine.
– The calls for renting spaces for various celebrations are published through social networks, and this type of private meeting is difficult to control, so the big question is whether it is possible to control these private celebrations. That’s why we have to think about restricting movement – noted Kon for TV Prva.

Dr. Kon affirmed yesterday that deputy Dragan Markovic Palma is wrong when he believes that a truce with the crown is possible, because “that virus has decided to stay on the planet.” – I respect all MPs, but with an opponent like the virus, we cannot win, we can only suppress it. He decided to stay on the planet and he will stay, and it is ours to use measures, vaccines, possibly drugs in the future – said Dr. Kon.
