Commenting on the latest events within the Democratic Party, the president of Together for Serbia and the mayor of Sabac, Nebojsa Zelenovic, told Nova.rs that it was about kidnapping that political organization from its legitimate representatives, and that the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, was responsible for that.
According to Zelenovic, nothing has changed in the Democratic Party the day before, except that a certain group tried to take over the party illegally.
“There was an attempted kidnapping and the essence is that Vucic is doing it. Just as he kidnaps elections, now he kidnaps parties. Tomorrow he will also rob us of our houses and apartments. We have to oppose that,” Zelenović said.
He adds that Lutovac was excellent when he decided to meet with the part of the membership with whom he is in conflict.
“As far as I know, they were offered to organize fair and honest elections and do everything correctly. It was a good sign for me, because no one can have anything against a fair election in the Democratic Party. According to the information I have, what happened there is not legal. And I cannot support that, because I fight against those things all the time “, declared Zelenović for Nova.
Let us remember, Branislav Lecic won the night before in the elections in the Democratic Party, which were organized by a part of the DS, in which he was the only candidate, and which the party leadership does not recognize.
